Casey is a Counselling Psychologist, offering sessions in Bryanston, Rosebank, and online. She is passionate about helping adolescents, adults, and families create more meaningful and fulfilling lives. Inspired by Maya Angelou’s reminder that people remember how you made them feel, Casey brings warmth, clarity, and hope into her work.
Casey has a special interest in oncology support, rare diseases, and palliative care. She also supports teens and adults navigating depression, trauma, loss and anxiety using evidence-based approaches. She works from an integrative therapeutic approach, drawing on interpersonal therapy, CBT, DBT, BWRT, and narrative techniques.
She holds a master’s degree in counselling psychology (Cum Laude, University of Pretoria) and she has also completed further training in psychometry at UJ. Her research has explored the experiences of parents raising children with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in South Africa, reflecting her commitment to supporting families facing complex health challenges.
Above all, Casey strives to help individuals reconnect with hope, meaning, love, and passion—both within themselves and in their relationships. Her therapy dog, Noah—a loyal golden retriever—often joins sessions, offering comfort and affection.
